Cream Tea in aid of The Wiltshire Air Ambulance Sunday 31st August 2008 at 2.30pm
Please come and join us for a cream tea on Sunday 31st August at Grove House, Bradford on Avon. Tickets are £5.00 and every single penny of your money goes directly to The Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
We have held numerous event in aid of The Wiltshire Air Ambulance and with support from friends and neighbours we have raise £5,500 since December 2002.
On the 7th December 2002 my husband Jackie Crapnell collapsed whilst out across the fields near our home in Bradford on Avon. There was no way an ambulance could have reached him and the air ambulance was sent. Sadly they were not able to save him, but if they had not had the chance to try we would never have known if anything could have been done. I am sure that all of you reading this either know personally or know of somebody who has been helped by the air ambulance and understand the importance of their work. In memory of my husband we have held various charity events throughout the year including Wine & Water Colour with well know local artist Steve Hall, cream tea at Cumberwell Golf Course, Coffee Mornings etc. and we are hoping to make this one of our most successful events to date. So come and join us for a delicious cream tea on Sunday 31st August.
